Samson H Chowdhury
Born on 25 September, 1925, Samson H Chowdhury's journey began in India before returning to East Pakistan. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a small pharmacy in Ataikula village, Pabna district in 1952.
In 1958, he co-founded a pharmaceutical company with three friends, choosing the name "SQUARE" to represent their four-person partnership and commitment to accuracy and perfection in quality manufacturing.
Today, that small 1958 company has grown into a publicly listed diversified group employing 28,000+ people with an annual turnover of $616 million USD.
